Long, full, dark eyelashes are a sign of youthfulness, and many women say that mascara is their favorite cosmetic. If your lashes have become sparse, thin or brittle with age, you now have a solution at your finger tips.
Latisse, a prescription medication, thickens and lengthens your lashes in 16 weeks. The active ingredient is bimatoprost, and is not recommended for anyone who has ocular pressure issues. Doctors speculate that once you’ve used Latisse for two months, you may be able to apply the treatment every few days or so and still see the same results. Latisse can also be used off-label for eyebrows.
A consultation is required to receive a prescription and according to New York State Law, Latisse can only be distributed by your pharmacy.
